Let us not grow weary

Paul writes to the Galatians, “Let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” (Gal 6:9, ESV)

If we, as Christ’s followers, keep looking around instead of fixing our eyes on Him, we will indeed grow weary and perhaps even give up.

Give thanks, today, for all that our Father has provided to help us not grow weary. For the Holy Spirit, the unshakeable word of God, and Christ’s bride, the church. Pray for yourself, for our team, and for the amazing people we’re currently discipling. May all of us, brothers and sisters in Christ, be filled with joy, hope, and faith for the coming year.

Jesus has captured my heart

Amira* in Egypt came across one of our ads for Nawal: aweekly program that supports and connects with women who are facing challenges in their personal lives. She visited the Nawal Facebook page and got in touch with our team.

Amira shared that she had fallen in love with a man before learning that he was married and had a family. She chose not to continue the relationship, but it was a very painful experience because he was the first man she had ever loved.

One of our counselors supported Amira through this. She helped Amira understand that God wants more for her than a relationship built on deceit.

Through our team, Amira heard about who Jesus is and how much He loves her. She’s keen to learn more and says, “Jesus Christ’s teaching has captured my heart.”

Pray for Amira, and for our team as they support her in her life and faith journey.

Hopes and dreams for 2023

Although we do not know what the Lord has in store for 2023, we trust that He will provide for the needs of our ministry, guide the decisions we make, and use us for His glory above all.

Please pray for us over the coming year, particularly for these hopes and dreams that come directly from our team members. Pray that we will:

• begin a minimum of 15 new home churches (discipleship groups)
• launch a monthly online home church for all these groups
• see 350 individuals profess faith in Christ over the year
• develop our discipleship platform into a more user-friendly system
• reach 5,000 listeners through Radio Wow
• be a family to one another, loving, supporting, and building each other up
• continue to be unified as a team, coming together to pray and worship as one
