Jesus helped me see how beautiful I am

My name is Fouzia and I live in Algeria. I am 21 years old and was raised in a typical family here. I have a physical disability that has severely impacted my life and caused me to have a negative self-image. I am not an outgoing person. I have a lack of confidence in myself and feel embarrassed when talking to others.

One day, while browsing Facebook, an ad appeared, leading me to Miracle Connect’s page. I was keen to read what it said and contacted the team.

A member of the team began correcting some of the misconceptions I had about myself. She showed me that I have favor in God’s eyes and that He sees me as His daughter.

She told me the story of creation, Adam and Eve, the fall and its consequences. Then she explained how Jesus came to earth to deliver and redeem us so that we could receive His salvation. All because He first loved us.

Now I have accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and personal Savior. I’m enjoying a wonderful discipleship program that has enlightened and changed my life. All glory to the Lord.
