Youth of the MENA listen to the message of Hope

The internet is full of messages that can be confusing to young people, and even more so, are influential in directing their decisions and future. Mixed messages can generate anxiety and stress among youth, resulting in aggression and frustration. Even worse, some youth in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) are vulnerable to the influence of radicalism and extremist messages, which offer false hope and a life purpose driven by hate and harmful acts.

Therefore, reaching these young people through various platforms and means is integral, to provide them with healthy messages and a godly direction for their lives. Offering them hope and encouragement through devotions, worship songs, and discussions on topics that address their worries and struggles.

This month’s newsletter is dedicated to our Miracle Connect 24/7 online radio. Miracle Radio – 24/7 youth outreach

Miracle Radio is Miracle Connect’s internet radio station, and our main audience are young women between the ages of 20 to 30. We operate 24/7 and focus on providing a convenient and secure platform for our audience to engage with music and audio programs. The power of radio is it’s accessibility, allowing people to listen while going about their daily tasks, ensuring privacy, and enabling interaction through music.

At Miracle Radio we focus on creating content that addresses daily life challenges and popular trends, as youth tend to connect with songs and lyrics that are motivational and easy to remember. We broadcast programs on topics such as relationships, daily struggles, and motivation. Our content includes songs, live, and recorded programs tailored to the needs, thinking, and behaviors of our audience.

Despite challenges in keeping listeners committed and consistent, Miracle Radio has reported positive insights. We have had meaningful interactions with our audience, including prayers and professions of faith. Monthly engagement and communication numbers are significant, with 203,240 engagements and 83,714 messages exchanged. Furthermore, we have welcomed 21 new disciples into groups which show the impact of our radio programs. Miracle Radio aims to continue providing accessible, inspiring content to our audience and helping them grow in their faith and walk with Christ.

Settling anxieties and receiving Christ

My name is Amaal. I am a 19-year-old Moroccan young woman. I heard about Jesus before and wanted to know more about the Christian faith. I began reading the Bible, and asked a Christian friend about topics I didn’t understand.
I found Miracle’s radio page while listening to radio programs online. Noor from the Miracle Radio follow up team sent me a Bible link and we began lengthy discussion about faith and God and Jesus.
It was a long path – several months in fact – to finding and receiving the truth, and the most difficult part was admitting that Jesus Christ was God.
I pulled away for a time and then came back to Noor with more questions; she welcomed me and finally prayed with me to receive the Holy Spirit in my heart and dwell in me to help me understand and study God’s word.
I shared with her my anxieties and doubts about receiving Christ. She helped me settle my anxieties and make my final decision. She prayed with me to accept Christ as my Lord and Savior, and become a follower of Christ. I asked her how I should live as a new believer, and she said she would teach me more about Christ step by step.
