Settling anxieties and receiving Christ

My name is Amaal. I am a 19-year-old Moroccan young woman. I heard about Jesus before and wanted to know more about the Christian faith. I began reading the Bible, and asked a Christian friend about topics I didn’t understand.
I found Miracle’s radio page while listening to radio programs online. Noor from the Miracle Radio follow up team sent me a Bible link and we began lengthy discussion about faith and God and Jesus.
It was a long path – several months in fact – to finding and receiving the truth, and the most difficult part was admitting that Jesus Christ was God.
I pulled away for a time and then came back to Noor with more questions; she welcomed me and finally prayed with me to receive the Holy Spirit in my heart and dwell in me to help me understand and study God’s word.
I shared with her my anxieties and doubts about receiving Christ. She helped me settle my anxieties and make my final decision. She prayed with me to accept Christ as my Lord and Savior, and become a follower of Christ. I asked her how I should live as a new believer, and she said she would teach me more about Christ step by step.
