You light the way for others!

‘- You are like a candle that burns to light the way for others,” says Fahad from Saudi Arabia. In three months Miracle Channel received 35,737 responses from Arabs in 46 countries.

Fahad’s kind words are particularly encouraging as they come from someone who is now seeking a new path for his life because of the evangelical programs on Miracle Channel. Here is what Fahad said;

-I am very happy for my friendship with you. I really like all your programs. When I first started calling you, I was hesitant because in the world I live in, everyone loves only himself. But I decided to try to call you in spite of my hesitancy. It was a surprise to me that I found people that were so concerned to help me. I was surprised at how they accepted me in spite of the differences. After a while of calling you, and through your help to me, I decided to write you this sentence: “You are like a candle that burns to light the way for others.”

Fahad was one of 35, 737 responses from 46 nations that the channel received during the first three months of 2010. Many viewers make it clear that they are strongly impacted by the topics that are discussed in the programs, and are thereby encouraged to seek help for themselves. After Miracle Channel started airing live every Tuesday a series that deals with the dangers of witchcraft and the occult, many viewers are contacting the follow-up office telling their stories and seeking help for problems in this area, such as Fatin from Iraq;

-I am a young woman from Iraq. For many years I have been tormented. I say these things to you after I saw your program that talks about this issue. Of course, I can’t say these things to just anybody because no one believes me that this really happens. Please help me. I am very tired. Please pray for me. Please pray to Jesus to help me.

Another viewer from Yemen says he is deeply touched by learning about Jesus’ love for other people;

-I watch the Miracle Channel and I am very interested in it. I have started thinking about Jesus even though this could make many problems for me. But what motivated me to keep watching and learning is Jesus’ love for people. Now I want to understand the thoughts of Christians. Because of this, please send me a bible.

Many of our Arab viewers are asking for bibles in the Arabic language.  The majority of these viewers live in areas where they do not have access to Christian literature, and even if they did, it would present a great danger for them to enter such a store and purchase a bible.
