Jesus uses everything to draw you close to Him
August 2, 2023From heartbreak to Christ
September 5, 2023One third of the population (32%) in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) consists of young people between the ages of 15 and 29 years old.
These are the future leaders who will determine the direction of the MENA region and who will parent the future generations of the 22 countries of the Arab world.
But now they are struggling.
Most youth feel empty and void struggling with their self-esteem and self-worth, while trying to start their life in a region where youth unemployment rate (25-30%) is higher than any other region in the world. They are filled with fear for the future, anxiety about their life ahead and a lack of purpose and usefulness in society.
This is fertile ground for radicalization by extremist groups that offer impressionable and desperate young people a sense of belonging, purpose and false hope for the future.
It is our calling as believers to step up in faith and start planting seeds of Christ’s love. We must answer their cries for acknowledgement and validation of their troubles and needs. They need to know that they are loved, that their future is in His hands (Isaiah 41:10), that He will never leave them or forsake them (Joshua 1:5), and that He has great plans for them (Jeramiah 29:11).
“Inside the Box” ‒ engaging with North African youth
“Inside the Box” is an engaging game-show program, streamed on Miracle Connect’s social media pages, that aims to reach young people in North African countries.
The program aims to discuss and expose various issues that young individuals face daily, with the ultimate goal of shifting their views and attitudes of their problems, challenges with the ultimate goal to find and know Christ and learn to surrender their problems to Him.
Key topics of the program include:
● Advocating for a balanced lifestyle: The program encourages mental, psychological, and spiritual balance.

From heartbreak to Christ
“My name is *Riham and I am a 20-year-old Moroccan woman. I messaged you a while ago, sharing with you a painful experience of a failed love relationship.
I was heartbroken at the time and I asked for help to forget about the man that had hurt me. I was grateful for the helpful advice you gave me to follow and I thank God that your advice worked and things started to improve for me.
You later talked to me about Christ. I was overjoyed to learn that He had died to atone for our sins, and I was totally convinced that He is one with God and that He loves me personally. From that moment forward I chose to believe in Him, love Him and give Him my life.”
I want to support youth in the MENA
