Man from Syria changed by mysterious dream

”I am a young man from Syria. I was a Muslim from a very committed Muslim family.  When I was young, I memorized the entire Koran. But when I was 13 years old, I had a dream. A man came to me and said, “This is not the true source of joy, but you must pursue the Son of Nazareth.” I woke up and went to ask someone about the dream and they told me that it was a satanic work. He said we needed to go the Imam, and we did. The Imam told me that I shouldn’t hang out with bad people and he wrote me a charm. I put in on my arm. But several years later, after I finished high school, I had another dream and the same man came to me. He told me, “This is not your true joy; you must follow the son of Nazareth.” I was confused and didn’t know who the Son of Nazareth is. I tried to find out but this time I didn’t tell my family because I didn’t find any answers with them.

I started asking, “Who is the Son of Nazareth?” “Who is this man that comes to me in my sleep?” I finally understood that the Son of Nazareth is Christ. But what I understood about Christians, from my youth, was that they were the enemies of God. I was terrified by Christians. I knew I had to go to Lebanon because I didn’t think there was any way I could find out who Christ was in Syria. Those kinds of questions would lead to immediate persecution.

I am not sure why I chose Lebanon. I wasn’t even thinking of becoming a Christian. I just wanted an interpretation of my dreams. This was the first time I travelled without my family’s knowledge. I went to Lebanon and every time I saw a cross I would go in to the church, and I would ask them about the dream. They didn’t help me. Instead they would call the police on me. I was put in jail for 11 days for my inquiries about Christ, even though I didn’t do anything wrong. It was just because I wanted to get an interpretation for my dream.

I ended up returning to my family in Syria. I became hateful of Christians as the ones I met in Lebanon only rejected and didn’t help me.  But in my anger and despair, the Man appeared to me again. He held my hand and said to me, “Know that you are not alone. Know that your joy is with the Son of Nazareth.”

I was very amazed and I became determined to learn all I could about Christ and Christianity. I didn’t really know what the secret was, but I felt this new life and strange power come over me. I started looking on the internet and for different ways to learn. And in the end it was Miracle Channel that really helped me understand. The Channel became the church that I was looking for, and I got to know brothers in Jesus. Also I was so blessed by the ministry of the follow up through Skype. The brothers would help me and counsel me and pray with me and encourage me. That’s the reason for my stability in Christ. I accepted Christ in my heart and have started the New Life Course.
