I used to have a negative self-image, but Jesus helped me see how beautiful I am.

My name is Fatma and I am a 21-year-old Algerian woman. I was raised in a typical family. My life was a little different than anyone else’s because I have a physical disability that severely impacted my entire life and caused me to have a negative self-image. As a result, it made me subconsciously being attracted to other attractive men. I always judge a book by its cover, have a lack of confidence in myself, and am embarrassed to talk to others; I am not an outgoing person.

One day, while browsing Facebook, an advertisement appeared, leading me to Miracle’s page. I was eager to read it and see what it said. When the page’s team initiated communication and attempted to contact me, I asked myself why I didn’t respond and start talking with them. At the end of the day, they never see or meet me.

Then one of the team members contacted me in an attempt to correct a few misconceptions I had about myself. She began to express how God sees us, and how I have favor in God’s eyes because He sees me as His daughter.

She told the entire story, beginning with the Creation of the Earth, Adam and Eve, The Fall and its consequences. Then Jesus came to our planet in flesh to deliver and redeem us so that we could receive His salvation because He first loved us. Now that I’ve accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior and Lord, I’m enjoying a wonderful discipleship programme that has enlightened and changed my life. Glory to the Lord.
