I have kept mocking the Bible, but when I read it, it changed my life

My name is Nagiyyah, I am a 26-year-old Egyptian young woman. I got contact with one of the team members of Miracle’s page to ask about what it means that God is called the Son of God! Can it possible that He gets married? God forbid!

On the other hand, I felt the attention, love and care of Miracle’s page team. They described how the word “Son of God” means, and that “He is God himself” as in the same sense of the word “the son of the Nile”, when it reflects the authentic character of the Egyptian person. By the time, I felt encouraged to ask more questions, like “Was Jesus only a prophet or more than a prophet?

The one leading the conversation had sent me lots of the Bible’s verses that illustrate the superiority of Jesus over all prophets came on earth. I said this is insane. At that moment, the team encouraged me to go deeper and ask whatever question I may have. And this changed my entire life. I asked them so many questions. One of those was about Mariam the mother of Moses, I was wondering, was she the same mother of Jesus? Then I began to compare what the Bible and Quaran say about this matter and other stuff.  When I read that Jesus is “The Word of God” I had a little bit kind of confusion. Accordingly, I asked them “Who does exit now? Is it Jesus or God, and who is the one I should I pray to in this case? 

The one leading the conversation, talked to me about God’s creation and how God so love the man, that He in many ways spoke to us. But the man remains in sin. In reflection to this great story, I asked about the creation of heavens, God’s throne, devils, and Adam’s repentance. All that has been heard was brand new that it was seem too awkward to me at first.

When I realized Adam’s sin and its consequences, and that someone should pay the cost, I was wondering “Who would pay for this sin?” Clearly, I realized Christ’s love that is ultimately demonstrated by the cross, and his redemption to me made me free. Thus, I accepted what he has done for me. Finally, they prayed with, and I submitted my life to Jesus as my Lord and my Savior.

I have been so grateful to the team followed up with me, and I asked them to forgive me for being so offensive. Later, they sent me the Bible. It has been a great conversation. Enthusiastically I need to go deeper in studying the bible and be disciplined by the Word of God, to know more about the Christian faith, and Bible themes.
