Saudi man remembered Jesus in time of crisis

A viewer from Saudi Arabia called and told us the following story. He was a widow with only one daughter that he loved very highly. His desire was to give her a good education, and he sent her to attend university in Jordan. But one day when he came home from work he could see that there were several messages on his answering machine from Jordan. When he called back he discovered that his daughter had been in a serious accident. The doctor asked him to come to Jordan immediately if he wanted to see his daughter again.
But the devastated father had neither passport nor tickets ready and he started to cry in desperation. Then he was suddenly reminded of one time when he had watched Miracle Channel and he had heard that Jesus was always near and could help us if we prayed to him.
“If it is true that you are real Jesus, please heal my daughter so she will not die, the father quickly prayed. “And if you do this I promise that I will follow you the rest of my life.”
Early in the morning the next day the father went out to get his passport and tickets to Jordan. But when he came back he saw that once again the hospital in Jordan had left messages for him to call back. He dreaded returning the calls as he was sure that it was bad news and that his daughter had passed away during the night. But when he pulled himself together and called, it was his daughter that answered the phone, and she said that something strange happened during the night.
“Suddenly a rush of heat went through my body and I was completely healed. The doctors cannot explain what happened to me, and they said that I had experienced a miracle,” the daughter said.
Then then father suddenly remembered his prayer and he asked what time this had happened. It turned out that it was that exact time the dad had cried out to Jesus from his home in Saudi Arabia.
“Now I follow Jesus with all my life and I want to be his disciple,” the father told us. He also said that he had started sharing his story with people around him, although he had to be very careful.
