Outstanding results for 2010

A total of 161 861 Arabic speaking viewers contacted Miracle Channel in 2010 after watching the channel. This is an increase of 42 627 from 2009.

As the final response numbers for December came in, the total number of viewers for 2010 counted a total of 161 861 viewer responses for 2010. The responses came from 49 countries, and most of the viewer inquiries indicated a high level of satisfaction with the programs and requests for prayers. Many viewers also called to tell us that they had received Jesus after watching the programs and were now followers of him.

We believe that much of the increase from the following year is caused by the opportunity to start broadcasts on NileSat and the beginning of 2010. While continuing on Hotbird, the new satellite provides a larger footprint in areas where Miracle Channel’s target audience lives, such as Yemen, Libya, Mauritania and Sudan.

It is also interesting to note that the response from Arabs living in western countries have never been as great as in 2010, with a total of 48 012 viewer requests for prayer and guidance. These countries include nations such as the United States, Canada, England, Germany, Netherlands, France, Sweden and Italy.

”I am living in Bahrain and I watch your channel all the time.  I have some questions because when I see your programs they draw me yet my family thought us that the Christian faith is all wrong. Can you tell me more about Jesus? Do you accept me even with my background? I really want to learn more because I like your programs on Miracle Channel.”
