Mahdi from Morocco: A gambler became a follower of Christ!

My name is Mahdi from Morocco, I am 28 years old. I was gambling compulsively, so I fell behind and debts were accumulated. I reached black despair. I considered suicide several times and took additional steps to do so, but I was rescued. Meanwhile, one day I happened to watch a Christian sermon that gave me hope and deeply touched my heart. Later, I came across the Miracle page, where the counsellor shared a link to the Bible and began speaking with me about God and his love for me. After a while, I recognized and declared that Christ is God who became flesh to redeem and save us. I willingly handed over my life to Him. I am now taking the first step in my discipleship journey to get to know Him better.
