Jesus is the only one who can take my pain away.

My name is Mahdy, and I am from Morocco. I am an undergraduate. I once met an American girl while she was visiting our countryside to photograph landscapes. She spoke to me about the Lord Jesus Christ and her personal experience of accepting Him as the Lord of her life. A few years later, by coincidence, while mindlessly scrolling TV shows, I came across “Miracle Satellite”. One of its programs caught my attention as it was addressing a subject that greatly interests me which was about “human emotion and its impact on human being”. And how was Jesus respectful of this aspect of human beings. This drew my attention and reminded me of what the American girl had told me about Jesus.

I was incredibly happy when I noticed a Moroccan phone number on the screen for the purpose of communication. I did contact a member of the team in charge of the page. He was attentive and a good listener. He was courteous to me and helped me see life in a different perspective. He stressed that I am so valuable in God’s eyes that He is the only one who can deliver me from the shame and ruins of my past. He shared some scripture passages with me. He told me that what the American girl witnessed to me was part of God’s plan for me to know Him. I stay in contact with the counselor in order to learn more about Jesus Christ.
