I want to know more

I’m Yehya, and I’m 29 years old. I am a captain in command of a ship. My testimony of knowing Christ was began at work while we were getting along as a team. A debate on the Christian faith erupted. These repeated conversations caused some concerns in my mind. Despite being a Muslim, one of the staff members was quite knowledgeable about Christianity. He was explaining the Christian faith’s foundations from a Christian point of view. When he was asked about how God could have a son, he elaborated in a more logical manner, especially from a Christian perspective, thus I felt the presentation to be so logic and that Christians, if we enforce reason, should not be considered as disbelievers or being accused with polytheism. A month or so had passed, but the ideas of such conversation were still circling in my thoughts. Seeking the truth, I planned to dig further and delve deeper, but being in the middle of the sea barred me from accessing the internet most of the time. But when I finished my voyage, I went back home and began searching the internet, watching videos, and eventually contacting one of the Miracle team’s counsellors through one of the videos they broadcast.

We had several lengthy discussions, and my attitude was to comprehend rather than to argue or debate. The counsellor invited me to meet after a long period of cordial mutual discussion. As the Lord touched my heart in that meeting, it felt as though it had been prepared and driven by the Holy Spirit Himself. There were other hints that reflected my eagerness to respond to God’s call. Following a lengthy discussion, I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. The counsellor then offered me to spend some time with him. We spent four days reading, discussing, and arguing passages from the Bible. We were all praying and worshipping the Lord. He finally promised to have me baptized before my vacation ends and going back to work.
