I can’t get enough of reading the Bible the counselor sent me!

Sarah, a young girl from Algeria, contacted Miracle Connect after feeling troubled about being engaged to a man she did not want to marry.

“I was once engaged to a man 10 years my senior. I did not love him.”

Sarah did not know how to share her troubles with her own family, as young girls in the MENA are not often encouraged to speak up or speak their minds and are tought from a young age to be obedient and keep quiet.

“When I contacted Miracle Connect the counselor advised me to be honest with my family. I was relieved that they agreed with me.”

The team at Miracle Connect followed up with Sarah after that.

“The Miracle Connect team sent me a message about God’s love for me. This made me curious to know more as I had never heard before about God becoming flesh and living among the people. I stopped all my other activities and stayed in my room learning about Jesus.”

Sarah hungered to know Christ more, so when the Miracle Connect counselor asked her if she would like to give her life to Jesus, she was beyond thrilled and pleaded for the Lord Jesus Christ to come into her life.

“I cannot describe how happy, excited and relieved I felt at that moment. I could feel something changing in my inner soul. My heart clung to Jesus and I pleaded with the counselor to keep talking to me about Him. I felt like I was born again.”

Sarah later on joined the discipleship program and is now furthering her spiritual growth and maturity in faith.
