Freedom is not to do everything I want!
My name is Hicham, I am a 28-year-old Moroccan man. I used to believe that Christianity or atheism were the ideologies of liberal, developed European countries. I do appreciate freedom, and I’ve been thinking that the only reason I am truly free as a person is because I can do whatever I want, whenever I want. One day I came to Miracle’s page as I was eager to know more about who Jesus is, the one who has helped everyone in need. when the counsellor began to discuss the story from the beginning (why Adam and Eve fell, how they sought independence from God, and what they suffered as a result). I realized that I am enslaved to my desires and pleasures and that I am not free. Rather I am still living under the bondage of sin. So, I responded to the counsellor and prayed with him after realizing that I am enslaved to my desires and pleasure. Knowing that only Christ can set my heart free from all of that. Actually, giving my life to Christ has allowed me to be set free from my lust, which no longer has control over me.
