Five Muslims who became followers of Jesus in April
May 19, 2015Arab family touched by Jesus
October 16, 2015Miracle Channel keeps hearing from viewers plagued by war and violence in Syria, Libya and Yemen. Common for many of these viewers is a search for a God who is greater than the fear and suffering they are witnessing daily.
-We know that people watch and follow Miracle Channel all over the Middle East and North Africa. But we need to pray for these people who are suffering greatly. We need to pray that they will have peace. But also that they will discover who their true savior is, says a spokesperson for Miracle Channel.
This channel reaches 22 countries in the Middle East, North Africa and the Gulf with the gospel of Jesus Christ, 24-hours a day. There is much media focus on the refugees from Syria and their great suffering, and rightly so. But there are several other countries in this region that are also enduring great pain and loss due to war and radical jihadist groups, such as Libya, Yemen and Iraq.
A woman from Syria, who recently contacted Miracle Channel, says that she was anxious and continually scared because of all the killings that happened in her neighborhood.
-I needed something that is greater than all the horrible things happening around me, she went on to say.
After talking to our follow-up office, she received Jesus as her Savior.
-Now I walk around and tell other people about the peace that Jesus has given me. Now I am not scared all the time, and I know that I am in God’s hands, no matter what happens to me.
Another man from Syria contacted Miracle Channel because he had a friend who had become a follower of Jesus. He also received Jesus as his Savior, and now he is asking us to pray that his family will also come to faith. And that they will get a safe place to live. Please help us pray for peace and for safety for all refugees who are fleeing the war zones in North Africa and the Middle East.
