Christ, the Merciful God

My name is Azzam, I am 35 years old, from Yemen. I joined “Miracle Plus” page because I wanted to learn about Christ, specifically about the Incarnation. The minister explained to me the purpose of the Incarnation and God’s love for humanity. I couldn’t grasp Christ’s love because, in my view, humans are sinful and do not deserve God’s mercy. Later, I had a dream where I saw the “Messenger of Muslims” with four people holding swords, chasing and killing people who were trying to escape, including myself. I fled from this dark place to another place where a man sat as if between heaven and earth, holding a cross, surrounded by some people. One of them came to me and said, “The Lord is calling you.” When I went to him, he said, “You are seeking the truth, and I came as a mercy for people, not to kill them.”

When I shared my dream with the minister, he invited me to accept Christ. I didn’t refuse his invitation, but I hesitated because the path is difficult, and I am a very sinful person. The minister then told me the story of the blind man who was told, “Take heart; get up, he is calling you.” I remained anxious, but after some time, I felt Christ’s love overwhelming me. I asked to truly follow him, prayed, and asked him to guide me on this journey. I read the passages from the Bible that the minister sent me many times, finding the words beautiful and comforting.
