From Doubts and Confusion to Light and Peace

My name is Ashraf, I am 31 years old, married with two children, and I work as a chemistry professor from Algeria. My journey began when I was 15 years old and joined a religious school because I was very interested in learning about religions. However, I quickly saw the contradictions between the sects and how they condemned each other. Also, when I prayed in the mosque, I did not feel peace, so I distanced myself from all religious groups and began searching for the true path.

My story with Christianity began when I was a child. My grandfather used to tell me how Christians are good people who do good for everyone, and my love for them grew when my mother was cured of a malignant disease after they prayed for her in the church. All of this made me respect them, but I did not seriously think about their faith until 2018. At that time, I visited the Miracle page and started asking them questions. The answers were convincing to my mind but heavy on my heart.

After a long struggle and much thought, I returned to the page again in 2025. They answered all my questions, and then I prayed with them to accept Christ. At that moment, I felt something different that I had been searching for all my life—not just a change in belief but an inner peace that filled me. Today, I am learning more about Christ, and I feel that I am on the right path and that I am not alone because of the presence of my brothers around me.
