From trauma and emptiness to peace with Jesus

My name is Khadija and I am 25 years old, from Morocco. I have some trauma from when my dad passed away when I was 12 years old. I had no friends and was very attached to my dad. His passing left me feeling empty and lost. I had this question: “Does God forgive all sins?” So I was connected with Miracles page, and was given the story of the woman who was caught in adultery. I learned that Jesus is the hero of this story, and He is the one who forgives sin and guilt, and He will forgive my sin too. At the same time I was afraid of my family. But I learned that because my relationship with Jesus is invisible, not everyone needs to know about it. We also had Christian Egyptians come to our home and share stories with us about Jesus. I was so happy about this because I wanted to become a Christian, but I was afraid of my step father. Yet, I knew that Jesus wouldn’t abandon me, but he was crucified in order to redeem me, and turned His back on my sins, and became my Savior. So I prayed and accepted the Lord.
