Christ, the Giver of New Life

My name is Reem, I am 24 years old, from Egypt, and I am divorced. Throughout my life, I felt emptiness and inner exhaustion without a clear reason. I always felt suffocated and couldn’t find peace in my life. But when I spent time with my Christian friends, I noticed they had peace and were reconciled with themselves, which deeply attracted me to them.

So I began reading about Christianity, and when I spoke with a minister on “Miracle” page, she explained to me that all humans are sinners, and that the wages of sin is death and separation from God. She told me that repentance alone is not enough to forgive sins, because a price must be paid for sin. After I understood that Christ is the one who paid the price for our sins, I believed in Him. But I was very afraid that my family would find out.

The minister reassured me and said that a relationship with Christ begins in the heart. Today, I can joyfully say that I believe in Jesus Christ, God manifested in the flesh, who died for my sins and rose again to give me new life. I have found in Him the peace I had been searching for all my life.
