All Have Sinned

My name is Sajad, I’m from Iraq, and I’m 20 years old. When I visited the “Miracle” page, I wanted to free myself from the superstitions I had believed in all my life. The minister began to tell me who Christ is—that He is the Word of God—and explained how we have all inherited Adam’s sin and now have a fallen nature, making it impossible for us to have a relationship with God as He intended from the beginning. He told me that repentance alone is not enough to save a person from sin, because sin must be punished, and that good deeds are not sufficient either. All human attempts to find a solution for sin and its punishment have failed. That’s why God Himself provided the solution by being crucified in our place. After I understood the truth, I accepted Christ into my life and asked Him to forgive my sins. I believe He is God who came to save me, and I feel a joy overflowing in my heart.
